Dear Mr Millburn
Hysterectomies
I wrote to you in the past regarding post pregnancy hysterectomy rates. You gave me the statistics for the year 1997 – 1998.
Could you please pass me the rates since 1990 preferably earlier if you have them and of course the reasons claimed for them. As you say the year 1997/8 could you tell me what date they begin and end? I had expected January to December however due to the way it was written I understand the dates are different.
There have again been enquires into the organs being taken and retained of the dead without consent or necessity. I ask again what is being done to protect the living? Yet again I say I was a living person that refused consent for this operation however it was done to me? As many of us that this has happened to, are over 18, therefore eligible to vote and women again eligible to vote. Do you not think it is a good idea to start protecting the organs of the living voters? The dead can not vote however they now have more rights over their organs than the living. Is about time this was addressed?
Thank you for your time taken in this matter.
Yours sincerely
