When I could not obtain the answers to a lot of questions from the hospital or my own GP or anyone else it was suggested that I contact the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. I was reluctant to do this. Many more years down the line I had then spoken to many others in a similar position to myself and very few had any answers.
