Dear Ms Shaw,
Please accept my apologies for the delay in contacting you but i have been waiting for a response from the Mondern Matron in the Gynaecological section of Woman's services at the Newcastle Hospital's Trust, who had in turn felt it appropriate to discuss with her Directorate Manger. This is the result of their deiverations.
1. Suggest that you contact the National Audit Office, who
may be able to discuss local and national figures.
2. They could not divulge the type of information you require from both a confidentiality
perspective and due to the amount of work it would entail.
3. They suggest that you set up a support group and advertise it yourself.
I realise that this letter must disappoint you and hope that you received a more favourable response from other areas.
Yours Sincerely,
(signed)
D.T.Lipscomb.
